Adapted for New Zealand, iiTomo is a national course for Japanese. With its ground-breaking approach to Intercultural Language Learning (IcLL) for Years 9-10, iiTomo is the most up-to-date and comprehensive package for teachers and students. The print and digital components are highly integrated, easy-to-use and provide meaningful interactions within and beyond the classroom. The carefully sequenced and engaging content gives students a real sense of progression, achievement and motivation. Explicit use of Intercultural Language Learning principles such as analysing, noticing, making connections and reflecting on one's own and others' language(s) and culture(s) provides rich and meaningful learning.
