The CD-ROM offers many short videos taken in Japan with students of the target age; they will speak simple repetitive patterns and also perform small easy conversation in real life scenarios. In line with the Essential Learning, cultural information will be contextualised and require the student to deduce and draw conclusions. This material will be embedded in the text and in the teacher presentation CD-ROM. This particular level CD-ROM will also follow a Japanese kid, Shun, on a normal every day school day, from waking up to going to school, to coming home. The TRB: useful background information, templates, blackline masters or illustrations to colour, cut and paste etc. will be presented in a 'Teacher Notes' section in the accompanying Teacher Resource Book, with all overprinted solutions to all exercises and tasks.
