Panorama Francophone 1 is designed to prepare students for the ab initio French course for the International Baccalaureate Language B programme. Panorama Francophone 1 is the first of two books covering the 2-year course. It is also suitable for students preparing for the IGCSE French examination. This unique resource is totally international in approach, and contains material especially designed to engage older teenaged learners.
Panorama Francophone 1 has a strong emphasis on developing intercultural understanding. The emphasis is on French as a world language, with francophone culture taking a central role. All the key IB texts and themes are covered across the two books. The content is designed to engage learners between 16 and 18 years of age. All elements of the examination are covered across the two books. Audio exercises are built into each unit too and all of the language is taught and practised in context, which means that ToK and CAS are integrated into the learning process.
